Historisches Straßentheater "Bettler und Patrizier" (Historic Street Theatre "Beggars and Patricians")  

Whoever joins one of the city tours through Nuremberg's Old Town with the Historic Street Theatre group, will be surrounded by history: Hans Sachs himself, Nuremberg's famous cobbler poet, will guide visitors through medieval Nuremberg, singing a merry tune and telling all sorts of stories. On the way, his guests will encounter artists, merchants, city councillors, craftsmen and beggars, and will be transported back to Albrecht Dürer's times. Since 2003, these special tours have been offered several times per week, starting in June.
