Cinemas in Nuremberg 
There is a lot on offer for cinema fans in Nuremberg: in addition to the Filmhaus Cinema, the art-house cinema with a more demanding programme, there is the cinema-cum-pub for all those left-over "children of 68", where you could always take your glass or red wine into the smoky cinema hall, but also the modern cinema palace with super-comfortable chairs and of course Germany's largest multiplex cinema, the Cinecitta.
Admiral Filmpalast
The Admiral Filmpalast is a top location right in the middle of the pedestrian precinct.
Atrium Filmpalast
The flair of past years is still noticeable all over the building from the 50s.
Casablanca
The Casablanca is definitely an institution: not just as a cinema, but also as a pub.
Filmhaus Cinema
The Filmhaus in the Artists' House (Künstlerhaus) is dedicated mainly to demanding film productions.
Meisengeige
The former bakery in 1970 became Nuremberg's first art-house cinema.
Metropolis
The "Metropolis", one of Nuremberg's first art-house cinemas after the "Meisengeige".
Multiplex Cinema Cinecitta
The Cinecitta, Germany's largest multiplex cinema with 21 cinema halls.
Museum Cinemas
As early as in 1925, the first predecessor of the Museum Cinemas was opened, as the ""People's Educational Film Theatre".
Rio Palast
The "Rio-Palast" in Fürther Straße is one of the few remaining old-style cinemas in the outer city districts.
Roxy Cinema
In 1990, the Roxy Cinema became the first – and up until today, the only! – foreign language cinema.
