Radrennen "Rund um die Altstadt" (Cycle Race Around the Old Town )  

Every year in early September, top international cycling teams come to Nuremberg. First, the ladies compete for world cup points, and then the male cycling elite follows them in an exciting race on the course around the Old Town. About 130,000 enthusiastic spectators of all ages flock here to enjoy both the sports and the entertainment programmes.
