Internationales Figurentheaterfestival (International Puppet Theatre Festival)  

Every two years, the curtains go up in Nuremberg for Germany's biggest puppet theatre festival. About 50 ensembles from many nations take to the stages of the conurbation and show the latest trends. The main venue is the Tafelhalle in Nuremberg, where also accompanying exhibitions are presented. Complementing the international stars from the puppet theatre scene, Franconian puppeteers show a cross-section of their skills in "their" venue, the "Theater der Puppen".
