In 2001, the oldest Nuremberg Cultural Corner Shop, the Kulturladen Rothenburgerstraße, moved across the road to the Citizens' Centre Villa Leon, Philipp Körber Weg 1 Tried and tested programmes, such as music, cabaret, group meetings, citizens' initiatives, courses and the workshop for creative crafts are again on offer in the new premises. Work within the city district has found new impetus and new possibilities in the Villa Leon. Intercultural encounters, the "children's art space" and a new "Klezmer" series are the main highlights.
