Tiergarten Nürnberg (Nuremberg Zoo)  

Nuremberg Zoo with its craggy sandstone and century-old trees, surrounded by idyllic marsh and meadow landscapes, is one of Europe's most beautiful zoos. About 2000 animals from 300 species are presented in near-natural surroundings. In addition, Nuremberg Zoo can boast the only Dolphin House in Southern Germany. Seven dolphins and five sea lions can be seen here at close quarters. In the planned "Dolphin Lagoon", Nuremberg Zoo wants to keep and present these sea mammals in a more natural environment in the future.

 

Opening Times:

Mid March to early October: 8 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.
Early October to mid March: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Please note:

Dogs may not be brought to the zoo.
