Universities and Colleges  

The faculty of economics and social science, as well as the educational faculty of the University Erlangen-Nürnberg, the Music Academy, the Academy of Fine Arts, the Georg-Simon-Ohm Technical University and the Protestant College characterise Nuremberg as a university location with an overall number of 16,000 students. With the faculties located in Erlangen included, an overall number of over 34,000 young people study in the conurbation.
